I Finally Got One!

Happy Monday, everyone!

I am so excited! I just couldn't wait to share with you the latest addition to my home. I have waited for YEARS to have one of my own, and I can't tell you how happy I am to call this beautiful piece of art mine.

***The heavens part and the angels sing.. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhh"!***

This gorgeous piece of machinery has 575 watts of power, can whip up 8 pounds of mashed potatoes at a time, and can handle THIRTEEN dozen cookies at once!

I picked this up from at a STEAL! This mixer lists for 499.99 and is on sale there for 339.95 with FREE SHIPPING... Plus I got a discount code for $10 off (check google for coupon codes first, this one expired the day I used it)... AND if you buy now, you get a $40 rebate from KitchenAid with this rebate form. All said and done, this $499.99 mixer was mine for only $289.95 shipped!!!

And yes, I got it in Black Onyx! To. Die. For.

Ohmygoodness I can barely breathe!

This is certainly going to be used often. Who knows? I may even open a bakery out of my home. Or be the Next Great Baker (look out, Buddy Valastro, there's a new up and coming Cake Boss)!

What? Can't a girl dream?

  1. "All said and done, this $499.99 mixer was mine for only $289.95 shipped!!!"

    OMG....that's INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!

    *thunderous applause*

I am soooooooooooooo happy for you, girl!

And I can't wait to see what delicious goodies you share with us after using this!

    LOVE the color, btw!

Have a super weekend, my friend!

    1. Oooops! I meant to say have a super 'week', not weekend - HA!

  2. Ron, I can't wait to get started making things! The first two things I have planned are French Bread and home-made pizza.

I LOVE my bargains. I'm one of those people who research everything and plan how to get the best deals. It is so satisfying when they work out as well as this deal did!

Have a super weekend... er... week yourself, darlin'

  3. e I know how you fell about a machine like that. When i got mine it was just like Christmas,Birthday all rolled into one. The only possible problem is it might take you away from us here on the blog. If after a short time if we don't hear from you we will need to have an intervention. The other thing is the great price WOW.
Oh how was the Wine Tasting? Or has the new machine already taking control? LOL

  4. Good morning, Anonymous!

You are absolutely right! It already feels like Christmas and Birthday all rolled into one... and I haven't even opened it yet! It is out for delivery right now and will be here today by the end of the day. Yes, I've been tracking it every step of the way.

Yesterday it got held up in Roanoke, VA due to snow and my heart sunk. How bad am I?

As for the wine tasting, BFF Bear and I got there 30 minutes after it opened and it was already SOLD OUT! Can you believe it?!? I know from now on I need to purchase tickets in advance. I never do that but will going forward.

We did have a wonderful day though. We went out for lunch and a few drinks, picked up some items at The Gingerbread House gormet shop, and went to my place for DVD's, gormet coffee, and Cheesecake Factory cheesecake.

I think we made up for the wine festival!

I promise to try not to let the mixer take over my entire life. Note that I did say "try".

    Have a wonderful day!
